Handmade sterling silver stud earrings with forged rod drop.

These stud earrings have been hand forged from rods of Argentium® silver. The surface of the silver has been hammered to give a lovely sparkly texture. I have added a flecked snowflake obsidian bead; this hangs by a twist of silver wire from the bottom of each earring.
Snowflake obsidian is mostly black with a scattering of white/grey flakes.
These are elegant little earrings, ideal for dressing up an outfit but comfortable for everyday wear.
The earring backs/scrolls are made from sterling silver 925. All other silver parts are handmade from Argentium® silver 935 (hypoallergenic).
Will be shipped gift wrapped (recycled & recyclable packaging).
Shipping: Dispatched within 7 days by 1st class post.
Size: Drop is approx. 4cm (just over 11/2 inches) and 7mm (just over 1/4") at widest part.
These earrings are made to order so sizes are approximate. Please allow up to 5 days from order to dispatch.

About Argentium® Silver
* Argentium® is less prone to tarnish than sterling silver.
* It has a higher fine silver content (93.5% or 96.5%).
* The silver is 100% recycled.
* It's less likely to cause irritation to sensitive skin.For this reason I now make all the ear wires and ear pins on my earrings from Argentium® silver.
